22 Feb 2022eventFerrari Owner's Breakfast 2022To kickstart the new year in the best way possible Scuderia South Africa, the official Ferrari dealer treated SEFAC (Southern Equatorial Automobili Club) members to an extraordinary day filled with good food and even better company. The Johannesburg showroom came to life as dozens of Prancing Horses started to flood in creating a sea of red that our Ferraristi know all too well. The smell of petrol and the symphony of Ferrari’s distinct V8 and V12s filled the morning air whilst our guests got acquainted with each other. SEFAC members shared their passion for the brand while browsing the selection of cars which included many special series as well as a few classics. Once all had arrived our friendly staff were on hand to welcome each member into the showroom where elegant tables and chairs finished with beautiful plant centrepieces awaited them. Once seated our guests were greeted by our Chief Operating Officer, Jan Ungerer who introduced SEFAC members to the Scuderia Johannesburg team which included a few new faces. SEFAC members were introduced to our Ferrari trained technicians which led to various discussions throughout the course of the day as their vast amounts of experience and passion for the brand allowed for a pool of knowledge in which our guests could learn more about their Prancing Horses. Once settled in, an assortment of only the finest tasting foods were laid out for our guests to choose from. This included colourful succulent fruits, European styled bagels, mouth-watering wraps and so much more. The aroma of fresh food filled the showroom air while SEFAC’s chairman, Denis Scheublé, announced a few prizes for the committee’s long-time members. Founded in 1967, SEFAC holds the prestigious title of being one of the oldest Ferrari Owner’s Clubs in the world. Its members are devoted to upholding and honouring the very high standards set out by Enzo himself and continue to show why owning a Ferrari is the best experience one can have as a motoring enthusiast. A truly memorable event that perfectly captured Ferrari’s family values as well as the sharing of a passion that has existed for decades. A passion that needs to be experienced to be fully understood.
